The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is reconstructing M-14/I-96 between Sheldon Rd and Newburgh Rd in Plymouth Township and the City of Livonia.

Bridge Rehabilitation of 17 Structures
Drainage System Improvements
New Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Technology
Freeway Lighting Replacement
I-275 Metro Trail Improvement

Over the past few years, MDOT has invested nearly $2.5 million in non-routine maintenance and emergency repairs to the roadway in the project area, not including annual cold patch placement and emergency bridge repairs that have continued to increase in frequency.
